The 2008 Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday October 22nd in the CVIAQ Room at the Clem Jones / Sunland Leukaemia Foundation Support Village at Coopers Plains.

Included in the agenda was the discussion and voting on a special resolution to amend the constitution to allow:

  The Association to accept Ordinary member, Associate member and Branch member applications upon receipt with those applications to be reviewed by the Board at its next meeting.

  A current member representative Director to serve until the next Annual General Meeting (with approval of the Board) should he/she no longer be employed by a member or be the nominated representative of the member company

Both resolutions were unanimously supported by the membership.

Pursuant to Rule 57 of the Constitution, Directors, Mr Rob Brown (The Brown and Hurley Group) and Mr Derek Marriott (Cummins South Pacific), were required to retire by rotation but were eligible for re-nomination. Both Directors were re-elected unopposed.

Mr Rob Brown was re-elected to the position of President with Mr Bob Martin (Jost Australia)
re-elected Vice President.
