Nominations are now open for the 2009 Apprentice of the Year Awards. The Awards are open to apprentices of CVIAQ member companies and their Queensland based branches that have or will be finalising their formal training in 2009. The entrants must be nominated by their employer and are judged by interview by a panel of members appointed by the Association.
Nominations will close on Friday 28th August with the judging to take place in September.
The presentation for the Apprentice of the Year will take place at the CVIAQ Annual Dinner and Awards Night to be held at the Greek Club, South Brisbane, on Saturday evening 3rd October 2009. Awards will be presented to finalists by CVIAQ President, Mr Rob Brown, along with long time sponsor, Mr Doug Warby of Warby Tools.

N.B. Employers please remember that nominations for any trade calling are limited to a maximum of two apprentices in the final stages of their training per member company. This includes any nominations from your branches. |
