The AUR30605 Certificate III in Automotive specialist qualification has been reformatted and the trailer technician (heavy vehicle) specialisation revised to better reflect the role of the heavy vehicle trailer technician.

The validation drafts for this qualification and two new trailer units have been distributed via email and MSkills email updates to individual stakeholders. All feedback received has been considered and where relevant, changes incorporated into drafts. Decisions regarding changes to drafts have been made on a consensus basis, with agreement gained from major stakeholders.

The final draft reformatted qualification and units can be accessed via the link below, together with a report on any changes that have been made to the initial drafts. All drafts are still subject to final editing and QA processes.
