The 2009 Annual General Meeting was held on Wednesday 21st October in the CVIAQ Room at the Clem Jones / Sunland Leukaemia Foundation Support Village at Coopers Plains.

Pursuant to Rule 57 of the Constitution, Directors, Mr Ray Smithers (Volvo Group Australia) and Mr Chris Musch (Isuzu Australia Limited), were required to retire by rotation but were eligible for re-nomination. Both Directors were re-elected unopposed.

Mr Bob Martin (Jost Australia Pty Ltd) was elected as the CVIAQ President with Mr Chris Musch (Isuzu Australia Limited) elected as CVIAQ Vice President. Mr Rob Brown (The Brown & Hurley Group Pty Ltd) retired from the presidency but will remain on the Board as Immediate Past President.

Mr Martin thanked the members attending the meeting for their show of support in electing him President. CVIAQ CEO, Mr Brett Wright and Mr Bob Martin both used the meeting to thank
Mr Rob Brown for the strong leadership he has shown the Association during his presidential tenure.
