24/01/11  CVIAQ Offers Flood Assistance

Businesses located close to waterways were hit hard in the recent Brisbane floods, none more so than CVIAQ member companies based at Rocklea, Bundamba and Ipswich. In the weeks following the floods, CVIAQ staff were busy meeting with flood affected members to ascertain how best the Association could help.

In several instances CVIAQ was able to assist by linking those companies flood affected with other member companies who could provide specialist equipment.

CVIAQ President, Mr Bob Martin, was more direct, transporting his own personal Bobcat to flood affected businesses to assist with the cleanup.

Further, CVIAQ provides the following information as an aid for members seeking financial assistance with damage caused by the recent floods. The material is extracted from the State and Federal Government web sites.
