CVIAQ welcomes past CVIAQ staff member Mr John Samson who has returned to the Association in the role Technical and Regulatory Officer in a 3 day a week appointment to action the growing number of technical issues and responses facing the industry and CVIAQ members in this crucial area of CVIAQ work.

Initial projects John will be addressing are:

 VSB6 Code of Practice – Heavy Vehicle Modifications (Review)
 Movement of Unregistered New Vehicles
 Review of QLD Transport Vehicle Safety Standards
 Providing assistance to members requiring information on regulatory issues

Throughout September, John will be calling on members to attend meetings at the CVIAQ office to review these issues.
