CVIAQ CEO, Mr Brett Wright, CMEIG President, Mr Bruce Becker and QASA Executive Officer, Mr Troy Knox met with Department officers including the Deputy Director General and the Assistant Director General on the 19th November to receive feedback from the Department on QASA’s 2007-2010 Industry Skills Plan and its September 2007 Industry Report.

CVIAQ is pleased to report that all department officials present held QASA’s Industry Skills Plan and the September Industry Report in high regard and provided many positive comments.

With these significant reports in place, much of the foundation work for the Alliance is now complete. 2008 will see many of the initiatives underway. Members who would like a copy of the QASA 2007-2010 Industry Skills Plan please contact the CVIAQ office.
