The Code of Practice for Vehicle Inspection Guidelines, which is utilised by Approved Inspection Station (AIS) Licensed Examiners for assistance in the detection of vehicle defects or unsafe vehicle condition by inspection, has recently been revised and updated. The changes take into account revised standards and additional information relating to current vehicle standards.

Queensland Transport (QT) is requesting comments prior to the release of the document.  Members who wish to review the updated Code of Practice for the purposes of providing a comment to QT may contact the CVIAQ office to arrange a copy of the document to be sent to them.

Queensland Transport request comments to be forwarded to them as soon as possible. Licensed Examiners will be advised directly of the release of the revised document.
