Queensland Transport has drafted a Modification Code with the aim of facilitating the certification and identification of FUPS Prime Movers and devices. It is intended to be used in conjunction with Code S9 of the National Code of Practice VSB6 – Heavy Vehicle Modifications.

Queensland Transport is seeking industry comment and support for the Code, and its inclusion in VSB6.

CVIAQ will be holding an extraordinary Manufacturers Council meeting at 9.30am on Wednesday 20th September at the CVIAQ office to consider the draft Code and formulate a response on behalf of industry.

Members are encouraged to forward their comments to the CVIAQ and to Queensland Transport directly. Comments should be forwarded to Queensland Transport by the 30th September.
