The Board has appointed Mr Derek Marriott of Cummins Engine Co to fill the casual vacancy created by the retirement of Mr Tony O'Leary at the 2005 Annual General Meeting.

Mr Marriott was welcomed at the December meeting and his election will bring many years of industry experience to the Board.

At the December meeting Mr Glen Lewis advised the Board that he was resigning from his position as a Director.

CVIAQ President Mrs Sharon O'Phee thanked Glen for his valuable contribution to the Association and for his dedication to the organisation of the extremely successful Charity Dinner to aid the Leukaemia Foundation.
