HOW CAN I START A HEAVY COMMERCIAL VEHICLE CAREER?
 

The best way to start a HCV career is to experience the HCV industry through CVIAQ industry events. If you have the skills and attributes that industry wants you need to find an employer to host you during your training.

No longer at School?

New Apprenticeships offer the opportunity to gain a qualification and kick-start your career at the same time. New Apprenticeships are nationally recognised and accredited by the Australian National Training Authority. A New Apprenticeship is an employment arrangement between employer and an apprentice or trainee that combines training with your career. A Pre-Apprenticeship course at your local TAFE assists you to gain the necessary skills and knowledge that will help improve your chances of gaining an apprenticeship in one of the many mechanical, vehicle manufacture or engineering careers.
