| CVIAQ Councils provide the direction and input on industry issues, regulation and policy affecting the industry and have been responsible for many positive initiatives including: | |||||
|
the development and publication of the CVIAQ Compliance Guidelines for Australian Design Rule 65 - Speed Limiting (PDF) ; | ||||
|
responses to the ongoing review of Australian Design Rules and vehicle standards; | ||||
|
development and promotion of regulatory proposals such as the 26m B-Double and increased steer axle mass; | ||||
|
organisation of training initiatives such as the highly successful CVIAQ Schools to Industry Tour designed to address our growing skills shortage; | ||||
|
response to the Queensland Government's 'green paper' on training policy | ||||
